cocoonのブログの記事一覧で、タイトルの下に出てくる本文を消す方法を知りたい！
記事一覧（カテゴリーページ）がなんだかごちゃごちゃしていたので、
スッキリさせるためにブログのタイトル下に出てくる本文を消してみました。
ここで説明しているCSSを、
外観→テーマエディターの「スタイルシート」にコピペすればOK！

【cocoon】cssで記事一覧でブログカードのタイトル下の本文を消す方法
カテゴリーページで呼び出されるタイトル下の文章は、cocoonの場合はメタディスクリプションに文章が入っていればそれが呼び出されます。
メタディスクリプションに文章が入っていなければ、記事本文の書き出し部分が呼び出されます。
もともとの記述は「entry-card.php」にあるのですが、phpファイルをいじるのは少々面倒なのでcssで消す方法を説明します。
この方法なら面倒なことは何も無く、スタイルシートに以下の記述を追加するだけです。
これを管理画面のサイドメニューから、外観→テーマエディターの「スタイルシート」にコピペするだけでOK。簡単ですね。
記事下にディスクリプションが出なくなるとこんな感じです。
かなりスッキリしますね。
個人的にはサムネイルとタイトルのみの方がスッキリしてて好みなので、ディスクリプション部分は当分非表示で行こうかなと思います。
cocoon設定からでもできるの？
cocoonにはcocoon設定という、項目を選択するだけでカスタマイズできる超・便利な機能があります。
今回のカテゴリーページでの本文呼び出しは、cocoon設定でもできるのでしょうか？
一応私も最初はcocoon設定からできないかと試みました。
css書くの面倒だし…
ただ、それらしき項目を見つけられず、結局今回の方法に落ち着きました。
もしcocoon設定からもできる方法があれば、教えてください！！
ちなみに先に話したphpファイル自体を書き換える方法は、子テーマ用にファイルを用意しないと行けなかったりphpを解読しないといけなかったりして超絶面倒＆ミスると危険なのでオススメしません…。
